Great Watford Bake Off

With the Great British Bake Off back on our screens, why not organise your own Bake Off as a fun way to raise funds for Watford Mencap?

How to organise your Bake Off:

• Decide when you want to hold the Bake Off and tell your work colleagues, friends or family. You could choose a theme for your Bake Off or leave it to the entrants to decide what sort of cake to bake.
• Ask all entrants to pay £5 to enter a cake in your Bake Off.
• On the day, ask somebody to act as judge and award a prize to the winning baker.
• Once the judging is over, you could sell off the cakes for £1 a slice or £5 for the whole cake to raise some extra funds.
• Send the proceeds from your Bake Off to Watford Mencap to help us continue to support local people with a learning disability and their families.  Remember to check if your company can match the funds raised too!
