EA / Office Manager

25 hours per week, over 5 days per week

c£17,000 pa pro rata (equivalent to £25.5k pa)

We are recruiting to an exciting new role of EA / Office Manager in our new Community Hub based in central Watford. This is a varied role which to support the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team and ensure the smooth running of the offices.

As EA / Office Manager you will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the offices at our community hub, including managing IT and telephony contracts and being the first point of contact with our suppliers. You will have responsible for health and safety in the office; maintaining a clean office and ensuring it has its supplies, line managing the office cleaner; managing reception cover through a team of volunteers. Providing day to day administrative support to the CEO & Head of Operations including in special project work. You will be data controller for the organisation and as part of the HR team you will support the DBS process for staff.

You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be welcoming and build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude. You’ll have previous experience of office /facilities management and of working with volunteers. You have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, able to juggle conflicting demands. You work well both independently and as part of a team. You approach change positively and deliver excellent customer service considering it’s impact on all.

You will be provided with on-the-job training, induction and management support.

This role is for 25 hours per week, worked over 5 days.
