Watford 4 Watford – Keeping it local
On Friday 10th December, three local charities, Watford Mencap, Herts Inclusive Theatre and the Watford New Hope Trust, joined forces to take part in a new charity initiative, Watford 4 Watford.
A team of over 20 volunteers took to the stations, pubs, bars and clubs in Watford to raise awareness and money for the three charities. Volunteers helped at different times, between 7am to 11pm, and over £780 was raised. The money will be split equally between the three charities.
Watford 4 Watford would like to thank all members of the public that donated, volunteers that helped out and the stations and bars that participated.
