Watford Mencap resident earns place in Fame Factor final

A resident at one of Watford Mencap’s residential homes, Robert Scullard, has beaten off stiff competition to get into the final of Fame Factor at Watersmeet, Rickmansworth.

Fame Factor is competition, in which members of the public audition to win a part in Watersmeet’s 2010 Pantomime. The winner will get to star in the Christmas performance of Jack and The Beanstalk.

Robert has been competing in the competition since June and his first performance, to Michael Jackson's Billy Jean, received a standing ovation. The competition started with 100 contestants and Robert is now down to the final 10.

Robert is very interested in acting. He is part of Heartbeats and ‘Active Theatre’ which takes place at the Millend Community Theatre. Robert also hopes to be part of the new Land of Liberty production coming up at Watersmeet next year.

The final will take place at Watersmeet on October 1st and we would like to encourage as many people as possible to go down and support Robert. Congratulations and good luck Robert.
