NatWest host golf day for local charities

 On Thursday 9th June, 24 teams will take to the course at Sandy Lodge Golf Club, for a charity golf day organised by NatWest. Money from the day will go towards three local charities chosen by the bank - The Peace Hospice, Watford Mencap and Cure Cancer at UCLH.

 Teams will enjoy coffee and bacon rolls before a shot gun start at 9am. A sit down meal, raffle and auction will be awaiting their return with a selection of fantastic prizes up for grabs including two special tickets to the O2 in a Hospitality box to see Alan Carr and a hosted lunch at Coutts Bank.

 Steve Ronan, NatWest Commercial Manger and organiser of the day explained;

‘The aim of the day, other than to have great fun, is to raise funds for 3 very worthwhile charities. I hope all the players will remember this and give generously’

 The Peace Hospice cares for people living with a life limiting or terminal illness and supports their families from across South West Hertfordshire. Watford Mencap supports over 500 people in South West Herts with a learning disability. Cure Cancer at UCLH is a new charity which aims to raise awareness and put 100% of all donations raised into purchasing equipment and researchers to find a cure for cancer at UCLH hospital.
