21st February - Pancake Race 2012
Ready, steady, flip! It’s that time of year again when Rickmansworth’s Annual Pancake Race takes over the High Street. Now in our 11th year of this remarkable event, we hope to raise more money that ever before for Watford Mencap.
Once again the Coach and Horses have kindly agreed to sponsor the race and host the participants for a post-race lunch and prize presentation. The Chairman of Three Rivers Council will be starting the race which begins at 11.00am.
In recent years we have seen local pubs battling it out with department stores, estate agents taking on accountants and schools squaring up to the council. Teams will compete in four heats and the winner of each will make it through to the final. Please come along and join the fun – you’ll have a flipping great time!
