Total UK

When local business Total UK, replaced their laptops, they decided to donate all the old ones to local charities.  Watford Mencap is the proud recipient of 12 them.

Rose Kreloff, Internal and Commercial Manager at Watford Mencap, who first contacted Emma Stickland of Total UK when she heard about the offer, said. ‘We are absolutely delighted with the generosity of Total UK.  The laptops are a great bonus as we would not have a budget to purchase such items.  It is a great example of business working with the local community.’

The laptops are of a quality to be able to be used for a further number of years. Watford Mencap will be able to use them in a variety of projects across the organisation, including the Children’s Centre.

Emma Stickland, who works in the Finance and IT department at Total UK, said, ‘We are delighted to have been able to donate these used laptops to Watford Mencap, as well as to a number of other charitable organisations in the local area. We’re proud to have been able to support our local community in this way, and are really pleased that they’ll be used in so many different charity projects over the next few years.’
