Get Set Learn
Get Set Learn aims to break down some of the barriers to participation and to aid access to sport, leisure and recreational activities for individuals with a disability.
New theoretical and practical workshops for you to book on to. All workshops run are interactive and ‘hands on’ with activities which include group discussions, games, tutor led information and the use of case studies.
Get Set Learn is designed for sports leaders, leisure staff, teachers, children centre staff, early years settings, after-school club staff, volunteers and members of the community who want to develop sport, leisure and recreational activities for people with disabilities.
Get Set Learn is delivered by experienced tutors who specialise in their fields and a certificate of attendance will be provided on completion of each workshop. Completion of all workshops by staff from your setting, will result in the award of our Disability Awareness Mark. This shows people with a disability that you and your staff provide a welcoming environment for those with a disability.
