Fundraiser

Part time £25,000 FTE for 22.5 hours pw

It’s an exciting time to join our expanding Fundraising team at Watford Mencap. You will help to grow and develop opportunities with existing and new supporters to increase income.

We are seeking a confident, self-starter who can engage with people at all levels, from service users to corporate sponsors. You will be creative, energetic and have excellent communication skills. You will enjoy a varied role in which you will recruit volunteers, source raffle prizes, organise public events, create social media content and much more.

You don’t necessarily have to have previous fundraising experience but you will have relevant transferrable skills and you will be provided with on-the-job support to help develop your talents so that you can make a difference to people with learning disabilities. You must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as a can-do attitude and great organisation skills.

The role is office-based in our new community hub in Watford, a short walk from Watford Junction Station.
